McDONNELL, John (Jack) (Churchtown and formerly of Whitehall) - March 13, 2018 (peacefully), after a very brief illness in the wonderful care of the staff in Simpson’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son Peter. Will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his wife Claire, daughters Roisin and Joan, son Kevin daughter-in-law Miriam, Roisin’s partner Keith, grandchildren Tom, Esme, Cara, Siofra, Coimhe, Genevieve and Hazel, sister-in-law Nuala, brother-in-law Fr. Colm Stanley, Columban Fathers and a very wide circle of family and friends. Removal tomorrow (Thursday)evening to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving at 5.15 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 10 am followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired to Friends of Simpsons Hosiptal. House Private.
