BATES, (Montenotte, Cork and formerly of Chippenham, Wiltshire), on August 13th, 2018, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Mowbray (Community Arts Advocate, Teacher), adored husband of Mary Brady, beloved father of Máille, Oisín and Benóg and dear brother of Edward, Liz and Ellen. Fondly remembered by his wife, children, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces. relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues. Lying in repose at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh.O'Connor Ltd from 12.30pm on tomorrow (Thursday) until 2.00pm. Cremation Service will take place afterwards at 3.00pm at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork. No flowers, please. Donations if desired to Marymount Hospice, or Cancer Research.
