BURNSIDE - Stella Maris (née Leahy) July 16, 2021 at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry, beloved wife of Sam, (Moulton Park, Killylane Road, Eglinton, Co. Derry), loving mother of Sarah, Kate and John and much loved grandmother of Jack, Sophie, Matthew, Ben and Aimee. House private please. Funeral from her home on Monday at 2.00 pm followed by interment in St Canice's Parish churchyard, Eglinton, Co Derry. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Northern Trust Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group or Friends of Altnagelvin C/o W J O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU.

Favourite memory of Stella. a sponsored walk in a forest park. She wore an Australian sunbat with corks tied on. I had seen that before but never knew the reason for the corks until the flies came and she shook her head! Talented lady.RiP
