KIRBY, Tom (Of Clancy Strand and Thomondgate, Limerick) - We are heartbroken to say that Tom passed on 12th August 2024. We will miss him deeply especially Rita, his beloved wife of 63 years, his five children Elizabeth, Jimmy, Ruth, Ted and Joanne his five grandchildren Jamie, Kiya, Anita, Joel and Theo. His siblings Michael and Marguerite, his sons and daughter-in-law Ray, Rebecca and Doug all mourn him, as do his nieces and nephew. Tom will repose at his residence, Northfield, Clancy Strand, Limerick (Eircode: V094 EF8V) on Wednesday, 14th August, from 6pm to 8pm. The Funeral will leave Northfield, walking up Clancy Strand, on Thursday, 15th August at 11am, to arrive at St. Munchin’s Church for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. All are welcome. Burial after, for family only, at Abington Cemetery, Murroe. Messages of sympathy may be conveyed to Griffin’s Funeral Home. Tom is soaring higher than the eagles.
