LARKIN, Peter (Terenure and late of Arthur Guinness & Son, the Guinness Choir and Newlands and Courtown Golf Clubs) - August 18, 2015, peacefully, in his 90th year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Lisheen Nursing Home, Rathcoole. Beloved husband of Joan (recently deceased) and much loved father of Brian and Jean. Deeply regretted by his family, brother Bill, sisters Eileen and Maura, brother-in-law Jim, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road this (Thursday) afternoon from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to the Church of The Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am and afterwards to Kilmashogue Cemetery, Rathfarnham. All enquiries to 01 4925959.
LARKIN Peter, (August 18, 2015) - (Pre-deceased June 2015 by his wife of Fifty-six years, Joan). Peter's son Brian and daughter Jean, along with his sisters Maura and Eileen and brother Bill, would like to sincerely thank all those who supported us during Dad's illness and death. The wonderful staff of Lisheen Nursing Home who looked after him during his last years, the support of friends, neighbours, former colleagues from Guinness, representatives from the Guinness Choir and friends from his years in both Newlands and Courtown Golf Clubs all helped to make his later years and final passing more bearable for us all. Thanks also to Fintan Cooney of Fanagans Undertakers, the Spiritans in Kimmage Manor, singers and musicians who made his funeral so special. To you all we express our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
