HUTTON (Freeport, Barna, Co. Galway and formerly Renfrew, Scotland) - February 28, 2013. Gordon Milroy. Former lecturer in Social & Political Thought at National University of Ireland, Galway. Peacefully at Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his loving wife Joan and children Elinor, Geoff and Dougie, and his grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his many friends. He will be sadly missed but always remembered with great fondness by all those who he encountered. May he Rest In Peace now. Funeral procession will leave Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood St., this coming Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm to arrive at the Presbyterian & Methodist Church, Victoria Place, for remembrance service at 2 o'clock. Removal on Monday to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin to arrive for cremation service at 2 o'clock. Family flowers only, by request. Donations if desired to The Galway Hospice Foundation.
