It’s hard but it slowly does get easier. Grief is just love with nowhere to go, so carry the love in your heart wherever you go

Grief
Grief is a door nobody answers. An empty absence Echoes in the Hallowed space; mute affirmation of Fate's decision. Pain subsides and Settles down in The dust of memory. -- Dermot O'Sullivan

memories

I played soccer both with and against Eugene in Trinity in the 70's. I moved to Canada and never met him again. I was looking forward to seeing him at the Edmonton Folk Festival [produced by Terry Wickham - another 70's soccer player] but I will have to simply recall the long hair and moustache and a few pints in McDsids [which was a favourite haunt].

He was one of the nicest gentlest people I ever met.

Sincere commisarations to all his family and many good friends.

John Courtney.
