GOVERNEY, Michael (Churchtown and late of Carlow) - 19th May 2019, peacefully after a long illness in the wonderful care of all the staff at Kiltipper Wood Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, devoted father of Kathryn, Maeve and Mark and adoring grandfather of Mark and Megan-Rose. He will be sadly missed by his family, brothers Hugh and David, sons-in-law Nigel and John, sisters-in-law Christine, Geraldine, Kathryn, Annette, Anne and Anne-Marie, brothers-in-law Peter and John, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and former colleagues in the Hotel Industry. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd May) in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown at 11.30am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only.

GOVERNEY, Michael (First Anniversary - May 19, 2019) Beloved husband of Elizabeth and devoted father of Kathryn, Maeve and Mark and adoring grandfather of Mark and Megan Rose. He is greatly missed by his brothers Hugh and David, his brothers-in-law Peter Dunne and John Driscol, and his sisters-in-law Christine, Geraldine, Anne, Kathryn and Annette. We, Michael's family, thank all the many people who shared a wonderful Mass of Celebration and all the friends and neighbours who sent letters and Mass cards. Our thanks to Michael's Hotel colleagues and those in the industry and the many people with whom he had worked in various Hotels and also for the wonderful people in Kiltipper Woods Nursing Home and Dr. Andrew Coady. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
