SPENCE, – Phyllis (née Friery)(Clontarf) – December 28th 2024, (unexpectedly) after a short illness bravely fought, having been in the loving care of St. Patrick’s Nursing Home. Devoted wife of the late Dickson (Dickie) Spence, beloved mother of Linda, Sandra and Adele, adored Granny of Freya and Gemma, Conor and Greg, Elsa and Lauren. Loved and remembered always by her family, sons-in-law John (Wardlaw), Andrew (Sargent) and Damian (Ryan), her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, her dear friend and cousin Margaret (Coyle), the extended family, her many friends in Rose Garden Singers, Clontarf Cricket Club, Bridge clubs, Badminton clubs, and Sutton Park School. Funeral Service on Friday (January 3) at 11 am in St. John the Baptist Church, Seafield Road, Clontarf, afterwards to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation. "Abide with me."

Very warm memories of playing and talking with Phyllis in Clontarf Cricket Club in the 70's. A kind woman indeed.
