MONGAN Norman Charles (formerly of Dublin and Paris), (peacefully) November 16, 2016 at St. James's Hospital. Beloved brother of Carol and Denis. He will be sadly missed by his sister, brother, sister-in-law Ilse, nieces Nina and Lisanne, grandnieces Hannah, Ruby and Ella and grandnephew Daniel, relatives and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Sunday, November 20, afternoon from 3.00 o'c to 5 o'c with his family in attendance. Funeral Mass at 10.00 o'c on Monday, November 21, morning in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only.

Ever grateful for Norman's work on the blind harper My Mongan uncles supported Menapia Quest publication and we have since proved our connection to the doctor son of Dominick Wonderful to read Norman's work.

Elaine Hopper So enjoyed Norman's book the Menapia Quest which my uncle Mark Mongan obtained from Norman many years ago.He valued his meeting with Norman on a trip from Australia. Thank you Norman on behalf of an Australian branch of Mongan

My deepest sympathies to Norman's family (from Carylie Forte of Chicago). I knew Norman through Ciaran O'Carroll and spoke with Norman in Sept. I’m shocked to hear he is gone. RIP.
