DILLON, Dr. John B, (Oakview House, Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon Terenure College & RCSI) – May 19, 2021 (peacefully) at his home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son John Gerard, brothers Joe, Fr. Ciaran, and Francis and sisters Ria and Rosaire. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née McDonald), children David, Michaela, Andrew, Paul, Mark, Marie-Louise, and Stephanie, brother Rev. Pascal Dillon OMI, grandchildren Luke, Lorcan, Aine, Hania and Daniel, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May He Rest in Peace. Due to Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place. John’s funeral cortège will leave the family home tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed via Gaynor Funeral Directors Facebook page. No flowers by request.
