McENEFF Alan (The Hawthorns, Annacotty, Limerick and late of Norwich Union Life - Aviva, Dublin, Sligo and Galway) - April 28, 2016, (suddenly), at University Hospital, Limerick, beloved husband of Noelle and cherished father of Andrew and Lyndsey; deeply regretted by his brothers Karl and Derek, sister Yvette, mother-in-law Kay, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, his Foynes Yacht Club crew, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home in Annacotty on Sunday May 1 from 3pm to 7pm. Removal to arrive at Our Lady Help of Christian's Church, Milford on Monday May 2 for 11am Mass. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome, Dublin for Cremation at 3pm. Family flowers only - donations if desired to R.N.L.I c/o Griffin Funerals 061 415000.
McENEFF, Alan (Annacotty, Limerick). A year has passed since Alan's sudden and untimely death. Noelle, Andrew and Lyndsey together with Karl, Derek, Yvette and families wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all those who travelled to be with us, called to the house, sent cards and messages of sympathy. To those who attended the Funeral Mass and Mount Jerome. To friends, neighbours and work colleagues for your continued support. To Alan's former work colleagues from Norwich Union/Aviva. To Committee and members of Foynes Y.C. for turning out in such numbers to provide the wonderful guard of honour. Alan would have been so proud. To his partners and crew on his beloved Dexterity - Liam, Ger, Ruairi - Kevin, Barbara, Paul and Edel, and his fellow sailors from all over the country thank you one and all. To Fr. Martin Loftus S.D.B Milford for the beautiful Funeral Mass, and Alan's childhood friend Fr. John Delaney for officiating at Mount Jerome. We love and thank you all.
