McCANN, Vincent (Vinny) passed away peacefully on October 11, 2017 in the care of the nursing team in Clonskeagh Hospital. Born in Stillorgan and living for the over 50 years in Rathfarnham, he has had a full and exciting life peppered with successes and failures, happiness and sadness, but always on an adventure, usually involving a boat! He now starts his ultimate adventure in heaven where, united with family and friends, he will be fully known by our Lord Jesus Christ. Surviving his wife, Vera McCann, he will be missed by his children Niall, Deirdre, Veronica, Vincent, Dara and Rory, his sons and daughters-in-law Bernadette, Michael, Donal, Niki, Jason and Cindy and by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham on Sunday, October 15 from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Monday, October 16 to the Church of Our Lady of Good Council, Ballyboden arriving for 10am Mass. Funeral afterwards to Deans Grange Cemetery.

For his First Anniversary this coming Thursday, Vinny's children Niall, Deirdre, Veronica, Vincent, Dara and Rory, his sons and daughters-in-law Bernadette, Michael, Donal, Niki, Jason and Cindy and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren wish to thank all who attended the funeral home, the funeral Mass, went to Deans Grange Cemetery, sent Mass cards, and offered support and condolences to the family during this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone the family wish to offer this notice as a token of their appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intention of all.
