GAFFNEY Dr. John Desmond (Des). F.F.A. R.C.S.I. (Blackrock and formerly Model Farm Road, Cork) - June 21, 2015 (peacefully) in his 93rd year at Newtownpark House. Beloved husband of Brona and loving father of Norma (O'Rourke), Robert and Tom; will be sadly missed by his family, sister Sheila (Kelly), son-in-law, daughters-in-law, his eight cherished grandchildren Kiera, Lynn, Gillian, Rebecca, Peter, Emily, Brian and Liam and two great granddaughters, nieces, nephews and all his relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) to St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, arriving at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.00am and funeral afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery.
