TRENCH, Bernard, (Belmont Nursing Home, formerly Barnhill Road, Dalkey), January 2, 2020, beloved husband of Gitte, loving father of Terence and Robert. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Masako and Caoilfionn, grandchildren Mika, Kai, Lucy and Alexandra, brother Joe (Claremorris), sisters Vera and Christine (Cornwall), sister-in-law Susanne (Denmark), extended family and friends. Gitte and family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of Evergreen at Belmont Nursing Home and the kind staff of St Vincent’s. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) to the Church of the Assumption, Castle Street Dalkey, arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass followed by a private Cremation.

Gitte, I worked with Bernie in IBM and knew him also in Kilternan Golf Club where I also met you. I am really sad to learn of his death. Please accept my sincere condolences. He was a lovely man. Sighle Sweeney née Browne
