CURTIS, Dr. Bart, (Wexford) – August 1, 2025, peacefully, following a short illness, in his 97th year, in the excellent care of the staff of Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of the late Pat (née Kerins), brother of the late Rita, and loving father of David, Emma, Mary Rose, Patricia, Eleanor and Grace. Deeply missed by his children, his daughter-in-law Ann Marie, his sons-in-law Philip, Seamus, Shane, Brendan and Brian, his grandchildren Emma, Brian and Karl, Tom, Grace and Robin, Kate, Jane, Rose and Ciara, Aoife and Deirbhile, Fionn and Niamh, and James, Paul and Harry, the extended Curtis and Kerins families, and a wide circle of friends and patients. The family would like to express their gratitude to those involved in his care in recent years, in particular Rosario Ramos and her entire family, Bluebird Nursing Care Wexford and Belmont House Nursing Home, Stillorgan. Rest In Peace. Reposing at home today (Monday) August 4, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on tomorrow (Tuesday) August 5, 2025, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rowe Street, Wexford (Y35 KX66), followed by burial at Courthoyle Cemetery, Carrigbyrne, Co. Wexford. Please note that due to the Fleadh Cheoil event, there will be significant traffic and parking restrictions in Wexford Town. House private on morning of funeral.
