DOUGLAS, James (Jim) (Bray, Co. Wicklow) – August 9, 2024, peacefully, in his 96th year, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Eileen for 69 years, loving father of Margaret, Aileen, Sarah, Rachel, Paul and the late James, an engaged and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of Niamh, Ailbhe, Lorcan, Eoghan, Leigh, Laura, Jack, Róisín, Maeve, Christopher, Clara, Louis and Sophie; sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Jennifer, sons-in-law Liam, Derek and Paul, sister Mary, brother-in-Law William, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass on Thursday (Aug.15) at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, followed by Committal Service in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. May he rest in peace

So sorry to learn of James’ death. We stayed in your place on Raheem Street in 2011 Summer. You were so kind to us and we have never forgotten it. We also mourned son James death but so appreciated the time we spent with him and Jennifer.
