MACKEY, Dr. Eugene (Gene), (Foxrock and late of Dun Laoghaire), August 6, 2017, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, in St. Vincent's University Hospital. Beloved husband of Veronica and much loved father of Des, Valerie, Laura and Rachel. Very sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Orla, sons-in-law Greg and Declan, his twelve grandchildren, brother Desmond (Canada), sisters-in-law Carmel Mackey, Anne Cooney, Ruth Robertson and Kathleen Moscardini, nieces, nephews, devoted carer Bernadette Murtagh, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown Crescent tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon from 3 pm to 5 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am and afterwards to Deans Grange Cemetery.
