O'CONNOR, Margaret (née Hanly) (Templeogue, Dublin and late of 17 Dillon Street, Tipperary Town) - Peacefully, in her 97th year, after a long and full life, well lived; surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent’s’ Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Timothy; predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Michael. She will be greatly missed by her children Brian, Deirdre, Niamh and Finbarr, her grandchildren Christopher, Hannah, Michael, Aidan, Barry, Genevieve, Sydney, Robyn and Jack, daughters-in-law Helena and Darrelle, son-in-law Gabriel, nephews Joseph and Kevin, brother-in-law Bernie, extended family and friends. Margaret will be reposing today (Wednesday) from 5pm -7pm at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, 100 Terenure Road North. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to St. Joseph’s Church, Terenure, arriving at 9.45am for 10am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Co Tipperary. (Arriving at 1.45pm approx). Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. "Rest in Peace"
O'CONNOR - As we lovingly remember our mother, Margaret on the First Anniversary of her death, February 26th, 2024, we, her children Brian, Deirdre, Niamh and Finbarr wish to express our sincere gratitude to the many people who sympathised with us, attended our mother's Removal, Funeral Mass and burial services. We give a special word of thanks to her longtime carers, Applewood Home Care, the excellent staff at Tallaght University Hospital and St. Vincent's Private Hospital, who ensured her comfort and dignity towards the end of her life. We also acknowledge the wonderful support and professionalism from Larry Massey Funeral Home, Terenure and D. Whelan Funeral Undertakers, Tipperary, who looked after our mother in such a dignified manner. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. Our mother's Anniversary Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, Tipperary on Sunday, 9th March at 11.30am.
