BYRNE - The death has occurred on May 11, 2022 of David Byrne, unexpectedly but peacefully after a short illness and receiving extraordinary care at St. John’s Hospital, Limerick. Late of Barrington’s Bridge, Co. Limerick, Navan, Co. Meath and The Southbank Restaurant, Sandycove, Co Dublin. Beloved husband, best and loyal trusted friend of wife Deirdre. An inspiring, adored father of Charlotte and her pre-deceased twin Susan Mary, Garrett, Stephanie and Scott and fun and devoted grandfather to Jack, Dylan, Magnus, Matthew, Ethan and our Holly. Deeply missed by sons-in-law Derek and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Carla and Garrett’s partner Derry, nieces, nephews and relatives. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo from 10am today (Saturday) with removal to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery.
