WHELAN, (née Rooney) Vera (Killiney, Co. Dublin) - January 16, 2023. Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, wife of Tony and devoted mother of Lisa, Caragh, Arran, David and the late Luke and beloved granny to Leah, Harry and Charlie. She will be sadly missed by her husband, children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Vera will be reposing tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94XK28). Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 19 at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Johnstown / Killiney, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
