Condolences
My name is Kathy Cussen and following a talk with my mother and two of my aunts last night I googled Sally's name. I wish to give my condolences to you on Sally's passing. My mother was Kathleen Crawford from Glencar, Letterkenny and she and my aunts have very fond memories of the McKay family. my grandfather worked as an undertaker at a time for Willie McKay and I believe he was the best man at my grandparents wedding, and my aunts godmothers were Sarah, Julia and Mary Anne. They were reminiscent of their youth in the conversation and talked about when my mother went to Dublin to get the materials for her wedding dress my Grandfather stayed with the McKay sisters in Bray. I would really like to make contact with you Sally's relative's if you would be interested. I appreciate that this may seem a rather odd request at this time but I do assure you that there was a great friendship between your relatives and mine in the past and I have heard numerable tales and stories in regard to the fond times spent together in Churchill and Glencar. My email address is kathyloughrey@eircom.net Regards, Kathy
