CARNEY James (Jim) "Ballylee", Market Street, Wicklow Town - May 14, 2013 (suddenly) at St Vincent's University Hospital. Retired CAO, Teagasc. Beloved Husband of the late Noreen. Much loved and loving father of Mary, Pádraic, Anne, Noreen and the late Catherine, brother of Anne and Margaret. Very deeply regretted by his loving family, daughter-in-law, Áine, son-in-law, Derek, grandchildren Cialann, Róisín, Aisling, Eoin and Laoise, extended family and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home from 3 o'c tomorrow (Thursday) with removal at 6.15 o'c to St. Patrick's Church, Wicklow, arriving for reception prayers at 6.45 o'clock Requiem Mass on Friday at 10 o'c followed by burial in Glenealy Cemetery. CARNEY, James (Jim) (ex-Teagasc), Market St, Wicklow, and formerly of Castlebar, Co. Mayo. (May 14, 2013) - On the First Anniversary of Jim's death, his family wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Dad; to all who sent Mass cards, messages of condolence, to those who attended the funeral removal and Mass and to those who travelled long distances to be there. We are very grateful to you all. Thank you to Wicklow Parish Choir and to Sandra for the beautiful music. Thank you to the staff of St Vincent's Hospital (A & E), Dr Neil Golden, GP and all the doctors and staff of Westmount Clinic, the staff of Butler's Medical Hall, Wicklow Community and Family Services, and Wicklow Meals on Wheels. We greatly appreciate the care you showed to Dad. Thank you to the members of Wicklow Grand Slam Bridge Club for the many enjoyable times shared with Jim. A very special word of thanks to Fr. Donal Roche, Parish Adm for his kindness and warm support to us on Dad's passing. Thanks to Willie Doyle, Flannery's Funeral Services for his expert direction and guidance in carrying out the arrangements. We also wish to acknowledge the generous support, solidarity and love shown to us by our extended family, relatives, friends, neighbours and the people of Wicklow Town. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. Jim's first anniversary Mass takes place on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 11.30am in St Patrick's Church, Wicklow.
