COONEY, (née Hayes), Maureen (Clontarf) – January 28, 2018 (peacefully) in her 96th year, beloved wife and best friend of Patrick, devoted mother to Irene, Brendan, Angela, Monica and Joan and loving sister of the late Imelda, Seán and Dominic. Sorely missed by her fourteen grandchildren,eight great-grandchildren, sister Kathleen and brother Jimmy, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today (Tuesday), from 5 o’c until 7 o’c with family in attendance. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, at 10 o’c in St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu please to Focus Ireland.
