AHERNE, Peter (Portobello and formerly Kilmacud). December 26th peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of the Doctors and Nurses of the ICU in St Jame’s Hospital. Adored brother of Anne, Geraldine and Brian. Greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Zoe, Kim, Garry, Jonathan and Karen, all his cousins and many friends. Peter will lie in repose in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Shanganagh cemetery May he Rest in peace
