McSHANE (Teddy) (Edwin) (Glenageary, Co Dublin) - Jim and Dolores would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on the tragic loss in May, of their baby son, Teddy. We would both like to thank most sincerely the McShane and McCoy families who have shown so much bravery and strength towards us during our darkest days. We are very privileged to have such remarkable friends, who have given and continue to give so much, in so many ways. It would be impossible to name those of you individually who have helped us through these past months. Thank you all. We thank all the mourners who attended Teddy's funeral at St Josephs Church, Glasthule and those who attended his final resting place in Mt Venus Cemetary. We would especially like to thank our dear friend Fr Denis Kennedy CSSp, who, apart from celebrating a beautiful Mass, has been of great support. We thank Ciaran Nagle for his voice and Ronan Hardiman for his music. We thank all of you who called to our home to offer condolences; those of you who prepared and brought food, and some who, at times, manned our kitchen. For each and every letter, Mass card, gift, floral tribute and bouquet, we thank you. To our many neighbours, who continue to be there for us every day thank you. May we say a special word of thanks to Jim's colleagues and patients who have been so kind. For the many people who have shown so much support during this time, we cannot thank you enough. We hope that you will accept this acknowledgement in deep and sincere appreciation. We are asking Fr. Denis to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for all your special intentions.
