CAPLAN, Peter J , Ballinteer, April 7, 2020 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family while in the tender care of the nurses at St James’s Hospital. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his wife Cathy, sons Oliver and Andrew, Andrew’s partner Kalpana, grandchildren William and Caoimhe, his brother Simon, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his brother David on March 23, Fondly remembered by all who knew him, especially his friends and colleagues in UCD and the Irish Bridge community. May he Rest in Peace. Due to current protocols on social distancing, a Funeral and cremation has taken place with only family in attendance. A celebration of Peter’s life will take place at a later date.
