The summer of 1959

Eamonn and I spent a lovely afternoon in Dublin city on Tues 8th September 1959 before he set off for All Hallows College. We had been friends all summer playing tennis and dancing in the local tennis club "hops". I was shocked to read of his death today. Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of this lovely man. Rest in Peace Eamonn.

Eleanor Coen-Ryan. 54 Kill Abbey, Blackrock. County Dublin.
