McCARTHY Rita (Sr. Rita) Late of Fairview Dublin and Rahin Ballylinan, Co. Laois. Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery - September 15, 2015 in the wonderful care of the staff of the Sycamore Ward, Connolly Hospital. Deeply regretted by her sister Veronica, brothers J.J., Anthony and Brendan, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, greatnieces, extended family and friends. RIP. Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy, Co. Kildare on Saturday from 9.30 o'c with removal at 10.45 o'c to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Though I did not know Sister Rita McCarthy, after speaking with Pat after mass this morning at St Pius on Cape Cod, I have a wonderful sense of what a truly special person she was to all that she met. I feel blessed for knowing of Sr. Rita
