<p>O'CONNOR, John - (Castletroy, Limerick). Died August 11, 2018. We John's family, Seosaimhin with Áine, John, Muireann, Hugh, and the extended family want to thank the many people who sympathised with us at the time of John's death. Our thanks to those who wrote, called, sent messages, and attended John's removal or funeral Mass. We were touched by the many kind words, stories, and memories which you shared with us. Thanks also to the University of Limerick community (John's other family!) his friends, former colleagues, and associates. Our thanks to John's brothers, Fr. Pat and Fr. Denis who officiated at the removal and Mass. We much appreciated the concelebration of Mass by their Redemptorist confrères and our local Salesian clergy. Thanks to Sarah Ellen Murphy and her accompanist for the lovely music. We were particularly touched by the generosity of Helen Phelan and the late Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, for being with us and performing during the ceremony. Please accept this notice as a token of our thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John is greatly missed and remembered with love.
