McDONNELL, (née Corcoran) Helen (Leeson Park Avenue, Dublin 4 and late of the Park Hotel Virginia Co Cavan and Aer Lingus) December 21, 2021 (peacefully) in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Barry and her son Richard, sadly missed by her family, her beloved children Ruth, Petria, Redmond and John, sisters Patricia and Kathleen, grandchildren James, Molly and Hannah, daughter-in-law Sarah, son-in-law Adrian. Helen will be missed by her many friends and admirers, including Troni (Petronia) her devoted carer for six years. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to the Church of St. Mary, Haddington Road arriving for 10.00 am Funeral Mass followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral and cannot, may view the Mass by going to the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/haddingtonroad Family Flowers only please. A Memorial Mass will take place in the Church of Mary Immaculate in Virginia Co Cavan on February 13, 2022 at 11.00 am. Rest in Peace.

Mrs.​McDonnell,​may you rest in peace. I stayed in the Park Hotel as a boy. My parents ,Desmond and Breda were hoteliers in Cushendall County Antrim.If memories memory serves me correctly I was in Clongowes with Redmond. Peter Patrick.
