My apologies for only today learning of the death of Jeanne. I was at the annual reception for the final year students in Biochemistry & Immunology in TCD yesterday and we 'oldies' were talking about Frank and Jeanne. One such was Gareth Jones who would have climbed with Frank. Gareth did not know that Frank had died. Jeanne was a colourful woman and a great hostess at the many parties we attended at Highfield. I offer you my sincere condolences on the death of Jeanne.
