BOLAND Eugene (Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois and formerly of Annaduff, Co. Leitrim) - December 21, 2012 (suddenly) at home. Beloved husband of the late Mary and loving father of Deirdre, Mary (Les), Kieran, Martina, Eugene and Edel. Deeply regretted by his brother Willie (Moyglass, Co. Roscommon) and sister Sr. Catherine (Marist Convent, Sundrive Road, Dublin), also his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Caoimhe, Ian, Cathal, Jack, Elizabeth, Marie Therese, Will and James. Eugene will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. May he Rest In Peace. Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest this Monday evening from 4 o'c with Removal at 6.20 o'c arriving to St. Michael's Church, Portarlington at 7 o'clock Requiem Mass on St. Stephen's Day at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Paul's Old Cemetery, Emo. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation and Focus Ireland. House private. "Iustorem animae in manu dei sunt"

BOLAND Eugene (La Chase, Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois) December 21, 2012 - On Eugene's First Anniversary Deirdre, Mary, Kieran, Martina, Eugene, Edel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and grandchildren would like to thank all who sympathised with them on their sad loss. We would like to thank our cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours. Your prayers and attendance at the removal, funeral Mass, Mass cards and letters of support were much appreciated. Our special thanks to the ambulance and medical personnel who attended to Dad, Fr. Tom Dooley PP, Fr. Paul Churchill and all of the priests for the celebration of the beautiful Requiem Mass, Dr. Larry Fulham and the choir for their beautiful singing, Mr. John Maher and Ms. Josie Hanlon of Maher's Funeral Directors for their support during this time, members of Portarlington Golf Club and the local Fianna Fáil Cumann for forming a Guard of Honour. It is not possible to thank everyone individually and we hope that this Acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
