Really sorry to read about John’s death. My memories of John go back to 1963 when he and the late George McCullough came on board as Christian Aid activists. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and also the whole family. May you all know peace and love in the days to come.

Dear Mary and family, Deepest sympathies from Joan and myself on the departure of John to other playing fields. I have nothing but the fondest thoughts for him and all my dealings with him. Great values, great humour, someone you could always rely on, and a true Christian. May you be strengthened in your memories of him.
