POYNTON, Violet Edith (née McFetridge) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – February 9, 2021, beloved wife of the late Edgar, much loved mum of Mark, Edwina and Nigel, dear grandmother of Jack, David, Laura, Kate and Hannah and beloved sister of Barbara (Rankin), sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Geraldine and Helena, Edwina’s partner Shane, family and friends. I cared for Violet for a few weeks while I was a student nurse. She was so kind to me and has really touched my heart. I will never forget her. She spoke so fondly of her children and beautiful grandchildre​n. She loved you all so much. RIP.
