WREN - Maev (née McGrath), died peacefully in Newtownpark House nursing home on Tuesday October 21, 2025. After a full and well lived life, from 1929-2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband William S. Wren, and much-loved sister and brother, Deirdre Coyle and Paddy McGrath. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her children Frances, Maev-Ann, Kevin, Joanna and Anne; her grandchildren Conor, his wife Zer, Claire, Maev, Eoghan, Sorcha, Isabel, Aisling and Julie-Anne; her sons-in-law and daughter-in-law Henry, Cormac, Elena, Gerry, and Declan; her sisters-in-law Angela, Cecil and Mary; her brother-in-law Vinny; and her half sisters and brothers Grainne, Stephen, Siobhan, Shane, Donny, Maria and Ivar. With gratitude for the wonderful care of the Newtownpark House staff who made her last three years so contented. Reposing in Newtownpark House nursing home, Blackrock (A94KC59), today (Friday) from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Mass will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at The Church of St Columbanus and St Gall, Milltown, Dublin 6, at 11am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Dear Maev-Ann, Frances, Kevin, Joanna & Anne, Sincere Condolences to you & all the family on the recent death of your mother Maev. May she rest in peace. I remember her warm welcome in your family home when I visited Maev-Ann as a fellow student. Sorry we cannot be with you in person on Saturday.
