CONNOLLY - On the First Anniversary of John’s death, his wife Betty and children Helen, Catherine and Kevin would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on the sad loss of a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend. We took great comfort from all the messages, flowers, cards and calls we received and are truly grateful for the continued kindness shown to us by so many friends during a very difficult year. Operating under the strictest of covid restrictions, we would like to thank Quinn’s Funeral Home for their professionalism and Father Aquinas Duffy for conducting a beautiful service which facilitated so many people to attend the funeral remotely. A special thanks to Niall who spoke about John and his life so eloquently. We remember the kind staff in the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook, who looked after John so well and showed us such compassion. We miss him and remember him every day. A Mass has been offered for your intentions.
