AHERNE, (Religious Sisters of Charity, St. Anthony’s Convent, Cork) - On May 26th, 2024, peacefully, at St. Johns Ward, Marymount, Sr. Joan, predeceased by her parents Jack and Elsa, her siblings Sheila, Aideen and Noreen. Deeply mourned by her niece Mary and her husband Samuel, nephew Olan and his wife Jackie, niece Karen and her partner Colin, her grandnieces Aisling, Ciara, Roisin, Anna and Eva, her Religious Community, her close friends and those who took care of her in Marymount. Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; on (Thursday) (May 30th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Friday (May 31st) in the Cathedral of St Mary and St Anne Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery. "May she rest in peace"
