COBBE, Vivian (Shannonville, Ennis Road, Limerick, late of St. Patrick’s GAA and Castletroy Golf Club) - Vivian passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent Care of Milford Care Centre, Home Care Team, on 31st October 2023. Beloved husband of Mary and dearest father of Aidan, Suzanne, Marion (Moran), Sinéad, Owen, Carolanne and Fergal. Sadly missed by his loving wife and children, his adored grandchildren Tommy, Daniel, Kate, Aoife, Niamh, Nicola, Sean, Orlaith, Isabella and Lola, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters Joyce, Pat and Eva, brothers Brian and Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his sister Mary and baby brother Diarmuid. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday 5th November from 3:30pm-5pm. Arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, on Monday 6th November for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to Milford Care Centre or The Irish Cancer Society. Messages of sympathy may be conveyed through Griffin’s Funeral Home.

Died October 31, 2023.

On Vivian’s first anniversary, his wife Mary along with Aidan, Suzanne, Marion, Sinead, Owen, Carol Anne, Fergal and Vivian’s siblings wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for your sympathy and kindness in our time of grief.

We would especially like to thank Dr Criona Burns and team and the homecare team in Milford Care Centre, who enabled us to keep him at home for the duration. Thank you to his and our friends, colleagues and neighbours for their kindness towards him, us and our wider family.
