BYRNE Des (Foxrock, Dublin 18 and late CEO of Irish Life Building Society and Director General of The Irish Mortgage and Savings Association) - October 5, 2017 unexpectedly but peacefully in Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband and dearest friend of fifty-two years of Kathleen (née Pyne), beloved father of Ciara and Isolde; will be sorely missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren Oisin, Oscar, Kobie and Zeph, his brothers Dermot and Ciaran and his sister Noelle, extended family and many good friends, including his friends in Woodbrook Golf Club, The Bohemians (The "Bohs") and the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home 5 Newtown Park Blackrock this (Friday) evening between 5.00pm and 6.30pm. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Foxrock arriving at 9.50am for 10.00am Requiem Mass with burial thereafter in Deans Grange Cemetery.
