RUSSELL, Fr. Myles (Michael), O.F.M, (Blanchardstown, Zimbabwe and South Africa), (peacefully), July 2, 2016. Eldest son of the late Tom and Marie Russell. Beloved brother of Fr. Tom O.F.M, Mary (Rochford), Frank, Margaret, Emmet and deceased brothers Paul and Kevin. A great loss to his many nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and extended family and friends from Blanchardstown, and the Franciscan community in Ireland and South Africa, where he lived & worked for 56 years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Vanderbijl Park, Johannesburg on Wednesday July 6, 2016. A Memorial Mass of thanksgiving will be held at a later date in St Brigid's Church Blanchardstown.Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis

RUSSELL, Fr. Myles OSM, Miceál - Will be lovingly remembered on his First Anniversary at the 12 noon Mass on July 2 in St. Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown. Also Paul and Kevin whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they rest in peace.

We met Father Myles in Vanderbijlpa​rk in 1967 and kept in touch, last seeing him in Bray a few years ago. A true friend and inspiration. Requiescat in pace and totsiens. Bernie and Alex Finney and Meg Kincade
