<p>MANGAN (Threadneedle Road, Salthill, Galway and Newfoundland) - May 11, 2013, (peacefully) in wonderful care at the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway; Michael Anthony, beloved husband of Sheila and much loved father of Maudie (Margaret). Sorely missed by Sheila and Maudie (Margaret), son-in-law Julian, sister Joan, brothers-in-law Jim, Kerry and Rory, sisters-in-law Una, Nancy and Cathy, nephews and nieces, relatives and many friends at home and in Newfoundland where he lived for 40 years. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway today (Tuesday) from 4.30 o'c, with removal at 6.00 o'clock to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11 o'clock followed by private Cremation .&quot;May God welcome his beautiful soul&quot;</p>

<p>Condolences over the miles</p> <p>Sheila, Maudie and family, please know that you are all in my thoughts at this sad time. Hopper was a fantastic fella and he will be sorely missed. I wish only that I had an opportunity to meet him in recent years. Conversations often turn to Hopper and Monkey. They provided us with so many great stories and so many wonderful memories. I can hope only that memories of happy times spent in his company will serve to buoy your spirits in the coming days.</p>
