BLANEY Eva (née Corduff) (late of Sutton, Dublin and Rossport, Co Mayo) - As we approach the First Anniversary of the passing of our wonderful and precious Mum, Eva on August 28, 2009, her family would like to acknowledge the help and support of many people. Eva's children Shivaun, Niall, Eamon, Annraoi, Sean T, Aoife and MacDara, her sons and daughters-in-law and her 11 grandchildren would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many people who supported and comforted the family during Eva's illness and in her sad passing. Eva was a very special person - kind and loving, wise and compassionate, loyal and true to her beliefs. She radiated warmth and friendliness and these gifts touched and enriched all who had the good fortune to meet her. To her brothers and sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews and extended family from all over Ireland and abroad, to her nephew Fr Eamon who travelled from England to celebrate the Funeral Mass, to our friend Gwen who sang so beautifully and to all of Eva's neighbours and friends who attended her funeral in Dublin and travelled to Massmount, Co Donegal for her burial we are truly grateful. We thank Phonsie McElwee Funeral Directors whose empathy and professionalism helped greatly during this sad time, and the Garda Síochána who assisted the mourners in both Dublin and Donegal. To all who visited and phoned Eva while she was sick, to those who sent cards, messages, flowers and warm wishes, to the hundreds of people who attended Massmount including many who knew Eva from her days as District Nurse there, many many years ago, we say thank you. To her niece and dear friend Evelyn who loved Eva as much as we did we say a special thank you. In recognition of the kindness and compassion shown to us the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Eva's First Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday next, August 28, at 6.30 p.m. in St Fintan's Church, Sutton. All are welcome.
BLANEY Eva (née Corduff) Second Anniversary, August 28 - Very sadly missed and remembered always with love and gratitude by her family and friends. Remembrance Mass tomorrow, Sunday at 6.30 p.m in Sutton Church, Dublin 13.Suaimhneas dá h-anam dhilis.
