MAHER, Mary, in her 91st year, formerly of Drumcondra, and of Aer Lingus Press Office, peacefully July 31, 2022, in the loving care of the nursing and care staff of Cedar House, Mount Merrion, and previously Margaretholme, Sandymount. Only daughter of the late Gerald and Belinda Maher, sister of John and the late Fr. Frank Maher, C. M., Castleknock College. Deeply regretted by her beloved brother John, her sister-in-law Betty, her devoted nieces and nephews, Ruth, Clare, Barry, Johnny and Billy, by Barry’s partner Graeme, Johnny’s wife Audrey, and by her three grandnieces, Laurie, Anna and Sally. Mary will be greatly missed by her dear friend Clare Lennon and the Lennon family, particularly Daniel, Sarah and Louise to whom she was devoted. Always cheerful and optimistic, Mary played a significant part in the lives of her family, cousins and friends and will be greatly missed. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Main Street, Dundrum today (Thursday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to the Church of the St Thérèse, Mount Merrion, arriving at 10.50am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, which may be viewed on the parish webcam https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/ followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery Rest in Peace.
