LAWLER, Brendan (Clondalkin, Dublin and formerly Ballsbridge) - May 8, 2023, peacefully, after a brief illness, in the presence of his loving wife, Marcella, and his five daughters, Leah, Hillelah, Beulah, Thea and Talitha. Quaker funeral in Rathfarnham Meeting House on Friday, May 12, at 11.00am followed by interment at Goldenbridge Cemetery. Chaplain of Mount Temple school, in which he spent 35 very happy years, before that in Newtown School, Waterford; cherished and deeply missed by his family, his sister Finola, half-siblings Jonathan and Jackie, and all his Lavin, O’Beirne and Lawler relatives. “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” - Ecclesiastes 12:7

Deepest sympathy to all Brendan’s family especially his wife and daughters whom he adored. I knew Brendan through chaplaincy for many years and he was always a true gentleman; insightful and wise with kind words for everyone. Love and prayers for all his family and friends.
