SHEAHAN, John, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and late of Rathnure and Ballyedmond Co. Wexford). April 7, 2020 (Funeral Director Sheahan’s Funeral Home) John passed away peacefully in St.Vincent’s Hospital after a short illness surrounded by his loving daughters. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Mary Sheahan (nee Lacey) and loving and adored father of Noreen, Pauline, Bernadette, Fionnuala, Una and Irene. Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, sons-in-law, brothers, sisters, his 16 grandchildren, Aisling, Roisin, Sarah, Donna, Sinead, Orla, Oisin, Sadhbh, Niamh, Claudia, Erin, Bonnie, Cian, Siofra, Conor and Ella, and his 3 great grandchildren Jackson, Hunter and Harry, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Due to the HSE guidelines regarding Covid 19 the funeral will be for family members only. If people would like to convey their condolences to the family they can do so online on irishtimes.com or by sending to Sheahan’s Funeral Home, 71 Upper Georges Street, Dun Laoghaire. The family would like to convey their heartfelt thanks to all the staff in the Asgard Nursing Home for all their kindness to Dad throughout the last year and to all the devoted and hard working team in St. Vincents Hospital for all their support and care they showed us throughout this difficult time. A memorial service will be held at a later date for all to attend.
