SARGEANT, (née Mahon) Eileen, (late of The Mageough and Rathfarnham), January 28, 2018, in her 95th year, in the loving care of the staff of Belmont Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Ivan and predeceased by her sister Dorothea (Sawyer) and brother Dick and by her daughter-in-law Kathryn. She will be sadly missed by her children Keith, Ross and Jean (Lew), daughters-in-law Marcella and Beulah, son-in-law Stanley, her grandchildren Craig, Clive, Brian, Mark, Jeff, Shane, Jonathan, Vicky, Karen and Jessica, great-grandchildren Lucy, Cullan, Ciara and Emily. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Joan and niece Sandra (Younge), extended family and a wide circle of friends. Funeral Service today (Tuesday), in Rathfarnham Parish Church at 12.30 o’clock followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to FOCUS Ireland.
SARGEANT, Eileen (Rathfarnham, Dublin) died January 28, 2018. Keith, Ross and Jean together with Marcella, Beulah, Stanley and all family wish to express their great appreciation to all those who sympathised with us in the loss of Eileen last year. Our thanks to all who called to the funeral home and sent cards and letters and made donations to her chosen charity and the many who attended her funeral. A special thanks to the medical, nursing and care staff of Belmont House Nursing Home, who provided a most cheerful caring environment for Eileen in recent years; and to Reverend Ian Gallagher (Saint Brigid's Parish) and Canon Adrienne Galligan (Rathfarnham Parish) for their great support to Eileen and her family. Please accept this acknowledgment as a sincere expression of our gratitude to all concerned.
