CARROLL Patrick (Major General Retd.), (Renmore, Galway) died August 13, 2012 - As we lovingly remember Pat on his First Anniversary, his children, Bryan, Liam, Pat (Paddy), Mary (Kingston), Maeve and Anne (O Maille) wish to acknowledge and thank most sincerely our extended family, friends, neighbours as well as Pat's former Army Colleagues both Retired and Serving who sympathised and supported us on our sad loss. We are so grateful to all those who called to the house, telephoned, sent flowers, Mass cards and letters, came to the Repose and attended Pat's funeral Mass. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Sean Manning who celebrated the beautiful liturgy at Pat's funeral Mass. We would like to thank the staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home and the Galway Clinic, who looked after Pat so well, the exceptional kindness and care shown to Pat in his final few months will always be remembered with gratitude. We thank Flaherty Funeral Directors and the Military Authorities for the seamless conduct of the funeral ceremony. We hope that this acknowledgement will be acceptable by all in sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
