Fond Memories of Aidan

Dear Lisse and Feeney family,

I was very sad to hear the news of Aidan's death. I have so many great memories of times spent together. I was one of the group of four Irish students who went to Bruges in 1984 and have been in New Zealand since 1990. Aidan was a great friend and confidant and we had many great outings to Antwerp, Brussels and beyond - including a memorable St Patrick's night reception at the Irish Embassy in Brussels.

I know Anna Murphy, Roger Chadwick, Chantal and Brigitte will be remembering Aidan and these times now too.

Sincere condolences,

Denise Quinlan

We can embrace our deep sadness as a measure of Aidan's impact on our lives

I wanted to leave a word or two for Aidan's close friends and family. People like Aidan are so rare, they are treasures in all our lives. We're so enriched by having the privilege of their friendship and so deprived when they are take from us. I knew Aidan as a fellow student at the College of Europe in 1984-85 and from our first acquaintance I knew he was one of those people you can never forget: thoughtful, kind, funny as they come, with a magic touch for making friends and creating good feelings wherever he went. I hope that you can find some comfort in the support of your family and close friends at this time.Sincerely Tracy Vietze - Boston MA

Much missed and long remembered

Dear Aidan's Family,

We are colleagues of Aidan from another department who worked with him on a number of dossiers over the years.

We always appreciated his friendliness, great kindness and good spirits. He was a frank and open man who was always happy to help others and who was much liked by colleagues also outside his own department.

We were deeply sorry to hear of his sudden death. He will be much missed and long remembered.

Please accept our most sincere condolences on your loss.

The Financial Services Team
