WOODLOCK - Joan (Dodo), (née Bergin), (Skerries, Co. Dublin), June 7, 2021, peacefully after a long illness. Dearly beloved wife of the late Vincent for 65 years, much loved mother of Michael, Johnny, Jane, Brian and Paul, adored sister to Margaret, Nessie, Denis and the late Michael, sadly missed
by her grandchildren Kate, Molly, Anna, Ciara, Ben, Jessica, Euan, Finn and Andrew, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends in Skerries, Rush and Ballyboughal. In accordance with
current guidelines, a family funeral was held in private in St. Patrick’s Church, Skerries, on Thursday, June 10. The family would like to express their enormous gratitude to the staff and management of Rush Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the past four years.

WOODLOCK - Joan (née Bergin) – June 7, 2021; (Skerries, Co. Dublin). The family wish to thank all those who supported us in so many ways when Joan passed away shortly after her beloved husband Vincent, during the Covid funeral restrictions. Thanks to family, friends and community, and members of Rush and Skerries Golf Clubs, who joined us for her requiem Mass, stood outside the Church and Joan and Vincent’s home, sent flowers, condolences, Mass and sympathy cards, and much more. Your kindness will always be treasured. We would particularly like to thank Fr. Melvyn Mullins of Skerries Parish, Joe Lannon of Lannon’s Funeral Directors, and Bernie O’Flaherty and all her wonderful staff in Rush Nursing Home.
